Mears Point Recreation     . . . Family Oriented Activities For All!

The Mears Point Marina understands that boating is often a “family affair”.  With this in mind, we offer a multitude of family friendly recreational activities to keep you and the younger members of the family busy and happy.

Mears Point Pool Complex… recognized as one of the best on the Chesapeake Bay, includes a large “L-shaped” pool with adult only area and a separate “kiddie pool” for small children. Open seven days a week, the Mears Point pool has plenty of cushioned lounge chairs & umbrellas, tables & chairs, and the “Captains Cabana” offering cold adult & children drinks, light fare grill menu and ice cream for keeping everyone cool.

Youth Activities… When you are not out boating, we offer many activities to keep the kids entertained.  The small children can pass time at one of our two playgrounds or frolic in the New Moonbounce.  Older kids can throw hoops on our basketball court.

Family Activities… Friday and Saturday night it’s free movies outdoors on the pool pavilion. G-rated family films start at dusk.

Kent Narrows Yacht Club… established in 1983 with the purpose to unite fellow yachtsman and their families in a nautically social environment.
